RIGHT FROM THE HEART

It’s been over a month that I haven’t written on my blog. My apologies since I have been so very busy with my other commitments. I am hoping to make time at least once in two weeks to write something on my blog.  As a freelance writer one of the things I have been occupied with is “Therapeutic Writing”.  I have had about 5 sessions on Therapeutic Writing coaching groups and individuals over a month and a half.  It’s been my most immensely satisfying accomplishment where I help people and make a difference in their lives. Helping them to cope with their stress and discover themselves and helping them to get answers to their questions that have been sitting with them for a long time.  Here is something what people had to say.  Their names have been kept anonymous for privacy purpose.

“It was an eye opener to me as it gave me a direction to channelize and pen down my thoughts.  You taught me the right way to journal my thoughts and ideas and how to be true to oneself”

“I had no idea about Therapy Writing and wanted to know more about it.  I found this class to be of great beneficial to me.  It helped me to get a clear idea about how to express myself and get to know more about me.  Got me connected to my past and brought out the emotions locked within me. I wished the session went on and on, but it had to come to a stop at one point in time”.

“It was absolutely an amazing experience as I got to know a lot about Therapeutic Writing. Being a teacher, I am always eager and keen on learning new things. It was knowledgeable and helped me to think about how we can improve our monotonous thinking style and how we must respect every individual.  It helped me to know myself better. Joy was precise and clear about how our thought process can make a difference in our life.  Joy made me feel important, respected my feelings, and gave me the opportunity to think and appreciated my impulsive replies”.

“It was indeed a great experience to know that one can work on themselves, it was beyond my understanding that I had so many hidden emotions and frustrations that on writing and working upon them, I was able to wake up to a new me. It’s at this very time that I felt the course was just for me to work on myself from within. There are all kinds of solutions we can find to others’ problems, but this just concentrated on “me”.

“This session has helped me a lot and brought out my hidden emotions and has helped me connect with and respect everyone”

“It brought out my inner self and I got connected to myself – sometimes when I have no one to speak to I know I can rely on Therapeutic Writing and speak to myself.  It helped me to change my thought process”

"I found this workshop very helpful with identifying my emotions.  I also found the writing prompts helpful because it helped to reflect on my future and on my relationships and also I felt it's something I can continue working on after the session".
