TIME
Stop for a while
and think about TIME. Think about the
time that has passed by in your life.
Think about the Time you were happy, excited, proud of yourself, sad,
angry, lonely, helpless. At which time
were you most productive and energized.
Was it worth your time?
Time does not
stop for anyone; it keeps ticking on and on. It is up to us to make use of our time in the
most productive manner so that it brings about benefit to us and our
surroundings. It is totally up to us to
consciously and deliberately make use of our time to generate happiness and productivity
to us and our loved ones and surroundings.
Our life is a journey. We have our routine work we do every day, and
we do not realize that time has passed so quickly, and by the end of the day we
are looking forward to the next day and prepare ourselves to start a new day
already.
When your day
is done at the end of the day, sit down and make a note of what you did throughout
the day.
Remember, each
day has 24
hours. We work for 8 hours either
at our office or at home. (Homemakers
also do work at home looking after the needs of their house, children and family). Give yourself 2 hours for
travel purpose to and from your workplace.
We sleep at night for about 8 hours. Another 4
hours we do our chores i.e. cooking,
cleaning, bathing, watching TV, listening to music, spending time with your
kids, chatting with friends & family, relaxing. Think about
what you want to do in the remaining 2 hours
of your time. What you do during this
time will take you where you want to be in future.
Your time
totally belongs to you. You have all the
authority to either be constructive or let go your time doing nothing. Remember, time that is gone will never come
back.
It is your TIME
and your DECISION.
Think about how
constructive you can be in the 2 hours that will take you one step forward toward
your dreams and aspirations, towards making a difference in someone’s life,
towards bringing happiness to you and your surroundings, towards being productive,
towards developing yourself – your mind, body, and soul.
Have a
wonderful day.

DeleteI lost a very dear friend day before to COVID , Time stood still, the thoughts numbed and all events of life stood frozen . An element of Time one is never prepared for !! Today as I reflect about the TWO HOURS that you have tried to coach us about in your blog makes a lot of sense !! One needs to enter into the realm of these two precious hours with a great deal of purpose and urgency , to perhaps cleanse oneself from the daily clutter of life! Heeding to your meaningful nudge ... I choose to delve into cherishing relationships!! Some gone by, some very much in my life today and some which might arrive !! I need to have and cherish them for life !! Thank you Joy for the awakener 😊
ReplyDeleteMay Your friends soul RIP, Vasu. Thanks for your kind response.
